The PWD Programme hosted a Cohort Close-out Session for their Values Driven Leadership Development Programme aimed at People with Disabilities (PWD).
This was a year long programme with a cohort consisting of 15 young people. Participants were trained for three days; subsequently they had to go back to their communities and implement their learnings under the Values Driven Leadership Development Programme.
The session also equipped the participants with entrepreneurial knowledge, which focused on savings, budgeting, market research, pitching for business, entrepreneurship and finance.
Some of the programmes implemented included career guidance at school, teaching computer skills for People With Disabilities as well as sports
