Request for Tender Bids – Supply of Motorbikes

The AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) is seeking to procure Six new Commercial motorbikes and invites suppliers to submit tender bids to supply the Six Commercial motorbikes as per the specifications listed below:

1.    Six (6) TSR 250 Commercial motorbikes as per the specifications listed below:

Description of Six (6) TSR 250 Commercial motorbikes

  • With BIG top carriage box (see picture below)
  • Counter-Balanced 4-Stroke motors
  • 5-Speed manual gearboxes
  • Disc brakes, electric start, light steering and manoeuverable handling
  • Service Plan
  • Quantity: 6

Bidders are invited to submit tender bids to supply motorbikes listed, detailing the following:

  1. Make, model and specifications of motorbike to be supplied;
  2. Pricing Structure in detail
  3. Terms of the motorbike service plan and the cost thereof if the cost in not included in the overall price of the motorbike.
  4. Delivery period from the time the order is placed to the delivery of the motorbikes to AFSA Durban Office and AFSA Nelspruit Office

Bidders submitting tender bids are also required to submit certified copies of the following documents with their tender applications:

  1. Company Registration documents
  2. VAT registration certificate
  3. A valid tax clearance certificate issued by the South African Revenue Services (SARS)
  4. A Valid BBBEE status level verification certificate
  5. A declaration confirming the absence of any conflict of interest; or alternatively a declaration stating any existing relationship /acquaintance with AFSA employees or Directors;

  • Each Bidder can bid for one or more of the advertised items
