Viljoenskroon Hospice is situated and operating in Viljoenskroon, the surrounding informal settlement and farm areas. It provides an end-of-life service (palliative care) to terminally ill patients, a support group for patients who are HIV positive, and a day-care centre for infected and affected children.

The AIDS Foundation grant was used to support the palliative care programme and to run a day care centre.
